We all love a wedding with a great colour theme, not only does it look good – but it’s fun as well! Wedding photographer Anna Rina just sent me these photos from a wedding she shot at The Saujana. I’ve actually been to The Saujana before and though it may be a little on the expensive side, its actually very pretty and lives up to the 5 stars mantra.
Svanitha’s tip – “I actually wore my wedding heels a few times before the wedding. It’s a great move and it ensures you don’t get any blisters!”
I do like the black & red theme they’ve done. Notice how there’s just a splash of red on the bridesmaids & groomsmen’s attire? A little detail goes a long way and more importantly they’ve done it in a tasteful manner.
When you’re doing a colour theme remember you’ve got to put touches of it just about everywhere…
And instead of a set dinner, the couple opted for a buffet (which The Saujana is known for). A buffet means less waste as guests eat only as much as they want!
Thank you to Anna for these beautiful photos!

This is really cute. I’m not sure about using black in a wedding but it looks nice here. For my wedding next year I am using gold, red and cream. My bridesmaids have to wear a gold dress which can be different designs but from the same tailor and cloth. I think it looks nice that way and they can make something they like!
Nice indian/ western wedding. Black and red is nice… good to stray from the conventional now and again.
Great idea having the cherry blossom design on the wedding cake, red and white are uplifting colours
Hi all, I have been finding high and low for a florist who can provide cherry blossom flowers for my wedding next year. I hadn’t had much success though! I hope to find my answer here…
