Luckily, TOR does most of the job for you, and you can always adjust its security settings if you want to see some functionality of a website or make yourself more secure at the expense of not being able to see every said functionality. Now you are inside TOR, and you wonder what to expect.

Do keep in mind that a lot of onion links tend to be out of service because they are taken offline or, in certain cases, seized by authorities. As Onion V3 is currently in fact, many links may also not be updated to that version and thus cannot be accessed because Onion V2 is already taken off support.
So keep looking, and don’t bother looking for trouble by looking up illegal sites, unless you want to mentally scar yourself or if Lady Luck really despises you, say hi to the police at your door. You might say that stuff like red rooms and hitman websites aren’t real.
